After nearly a hundred years of persecution, preceded by nearly another century of corrupt government, lax laws, and a declining economy, major sects of Christianity rebelled against the United States Government. It was marked by political, civil, and moral wars across the country. The defeat of the United States was marked when many of the United States Military powers seceded to the United Christians. It is believed that several major heads of military power were disturbed by the way the United States was treating POWs. And did not want be a part of such horrendous war crimes. The United Christian States of America is the second most prosperous country in the world today. Second only to Israel.
If Christianity was the law in this country, we'd all be fucked.
The Constitution has the rule of separation between church and state for very good reasons.
Persecution? What persecution? Are Christians being sent to concentration camps? Are they being lynched, or denied legal rights just because they're Christian?
Christianity neither is, nor ever was, part of the common law. - Thomas Jefferson
"As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion - The Treaty of Tripoli
Just because some of the founding fathers were Christians, doesnt mean they wanted to make Christianity the law of the land and force it on others. Wouldnt that be just as much persecution and theocracy that they were running from?
This is what I dont get about republicans. You like religion, you dont like government, and yet for some reason you want them to be intertwined? Why would you want religion in the hands of the government?
Because GOD would fix the ebul corrupt human government. Just like he fixed world hunger, genetic mutations, amputees, war, violent crime, sexual violence, racism, sexism....

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
